Christmas Eve [v.2.0 Completed]

Today I’m releasing Christmas Eve 2.0. While I didn’t change much of the essence of the story or the game itself, I did do a lot of work to fine tune things a bit. While the changes aren’t mind-blowing, I think they significantly improve the overall game quality. In short, you won’t be missing much story-wise.

The first and most obvious change is to the images. They are now de-noised. This may be more obvious to those of you on a desktop or laptop, but I think the change is striking. I also converted the entire image library to .webp so it takes up a lot less space.

The next change is to the script. I did make a LOT of corrections. I fixed a bunch of grammatical errors as well as all of the switches in perspective from 3rd person to 1st and back again. I also made some changes to the story. I added a few continuity corrections between CE and NYD. I also threw in a few subtle hints and foreshadowing elements to help tie the two stories together even more.

Finally, I reworked the UI a bit and added a gallery. The gallery images unlock as you play through the game.
